The key advantages at Knowle are that membership levels are capped at a sensible level, so the course is very rarely overly congested. We also limit society visits to Tuesday or Thursday to ensure plentiful course access for our Members, who do not need to pre-book tee times. Pace of play is usually brisk, with weekend competition rounds taking no more than 4 hours.

Efficiently managed with a variety of income streams, we are able to invest significant sums into improvements each year, whilst at the same time providing subscription rates which we believe offer the best comparative value in the Bristol area.

Membership at Knowle Golf Club is highly sought after due to the exceptional value we provide.

Due to this high demand, a waiting list is in place which is currently closed to new applicants. We will advise via this webpage when the waiting list re-opens. We will however fast track female members aged 18+ as this grouping is currently under-represented within our membership profile. Next update 1st May 2026.
